The Civil Law mediator certificate course will qualify individuals to work as Civil Law mediators in judicial and administrative disputes. Civil Law mediators work on various types of disputes from contract issues to employment law matters. The course will teach mediation techniques and prepare the student to engage in conflict resolution. The course is 30 hours in length spread over 11 weeks and will meet at the National American University Burnsville Campus. The course is approved by the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Mondays– 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Thursdays 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm with one Saturday morning [August 16th]
Total class time is 30 hours.
*Class qualifies an individual in the State of Minnesota to act as a Civil Law Mediator in judicial cases and disputes.*
