The Family Law mediator certificate course will qualify individuals to work as Family Law mediators in judicial and administrative disputes. Family Law mediators work on various types of disputes from contested property issues in a divorce to child custody matters. The course will teach mediation techniques and prepare the student to engage in conflict resolution. The course is 40 hours in length spread over 11 weeks and will meet at the National American University Burnsville Campus. The course is approved by the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays – 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm and two Saturday sessions [August 2nd and August 16th]
Total class time is 40 hours.
*Class qualifies an individual in the State of Minnesota to act as a Family Law Mediator in judicial cases and disputes.*
